Woman charged in hit and run of a school bus in Tazewell County

A woman faces multiple charges in Tazewell, Virginia after police say she crashed into a school bus and fled the scene.

It happened Tuesday morning along Walnut Street.  There were children on the bus. Police say no one was hurt. 

Kala Thurman, of Tazewell, is charged with driving on a suspended license, leaving the scene of an accident, and unauthorized use of a vehicle.
