(WVVA) Wednesday evening will be dry and mild for Halloween activities with temperatures in the upper 60s, falling into the lower 60s through the early evening hours. Winds will be a little gusty early, but will settle down some overnight.
A cold front will slowly creep toward our area from the west on Thursday with an area of low pressure riding north along the front on Friday. The front will slowly clear our area on Friday afternoon or evening. Rain showers will become more likely Thursday evening and Friday. Cooler conditions and showers are expected Friday night and Saturday. We will see some drying Saturday evening and Sunday, but the fair weather will be short lived. Rain chances will creep back up again by Monday evening and Tuesday.
