(WVVA) A man wanted on more than 40 felony charges in three different states was captured in Beckley.
Task force officers arrested Robert Michael Wolfenbarker, 33, on Thursday at a residence on Kanawha Street. According to the U.S. Marshals Service, Wolfenbarker was found “hiding under a bed.”
Wolfenbarker was wanted in Elizabethton, Tennessee in connection with the theft of a race car hauler that held a race car and some equipment.
“Wolfenbarker also has over 40 felony charges for various crimes pending in North Carolina as well as felony charges in Raleigh County, WV for narcotics trafficking and fleeing,” according to U.S. Marshal Michael Baylous.
Members of the Raleigh County Sheriff’s Office and Raleigh County Drug and Violent Crime Task Force assisted in Wolfenbarker’s arrest.
