A year ago this month, a fire burned down Princeton Power Sports off Oakvale Rd.
The owner decided not to rebuild, so Bryan Halsey stepped in.
“I didn’t want to see our area lose such a vital business to Mercer County,” said Halsey, so he opened West Virginia Motorsports on Stafford Dr. in January.
ATV-ing and trail-riding is one of the leading tourist attractions in Mercer County. Halsey’s business is the only location in the county that sells Arctic Cats and the CFMOTO line of Side x Side and ATVs.
In addition to the machines, West Virginia Motorsports sells accessories, maintenance tools and even a special GPS fit with local trail systems.
West Virginia Motorsports and the Chamber of Commerce of the two Virginias will celebrate the store with a ribbon cutting on April 25. The grand opening will take place on Saturday, the 27th.
