Greenbrier Valley Airport to add more flights during summer months

(Maxwelton) Changes are happening to the flights at the Greenbrier Valley Airport this summer.

During the summer months the airport will add in extra Saturday and Sunday flights to Chicago, moving the number up to nine per week from seven. Flights were added for mid-day Chicago service.

There will also be new flights to Washington DC this summer. Now, United will fly to Washington DC from the Greenbrier Valley airport once per day, which is up from five times per week.

This new schedule will start in July and go through the very beginning of October.

The United flights at the Greenbrier Valley Airport are operated by Skywest.

These flights were reallocated from January, which has low ridership due to seasonality.
