Local company hiring machinists, IPM

CITY OF BLUEFIELD, W.Va (WVVA) A locally owned and operated company in Bluefield is ready to tell you, “you’re hired.”

The Industrial, Plating & Machine company held a job fair today, looking for machinists and a programmer.

IPM manufactures parts and components for machines relevant to diverse industries so their employees can embark on fulfilling careers.

“These are long-term career opportunities,” said Courtney Clark Hill, Vice President of IPM communications.” “While many businesses are affected by how the coal industry is doing, we’re usually not because we have industrial opportunities as well as mining customers.”

IPM received about 60 applications before the job fair.
