Bluefield Beavers kicker Kaulin Parris has committed to play collegiate football for the West Virginia Mountaineers.
Parris is the top-ranked high school kicker in the state of West Virginia. The longest kick that he’s ever made in a game is 44 yards, but he’s accurate from as long as 60 yards out.
The senior kicker says that he’s living his dream by committing to his home state’s very own Mountaineers.
“It’s just a blessing. It still hasn’t fully hit me yet. It’s just crazy knowing that I’ll be able to put on that Mountaineer gear on Saturdays. When I was sitting in coach [Neal] Brown’s office, I felt like I needed to make it home,” Parris said.
Parris’ decision came down to West Virginia or Virginia Tech, but he says that his relationship with the Mountaineer coaches put WVU on top.
