Princeton falls to Burlington, 3-1

On Saturday afternoon, the Burlington Royals defeated the Princeton Rays, 3-1.

The Royals struck first in the top of the fourth inning when Logan Porter singled on a line drive to left field to bring Jake Means home.

The Rays were able to answer right back in the bottom of the fourth inning, as Diego Infante tripled on a fly ball to left center field to bring Luis Leon home to knot things up at 1-1.

The game was decided in the top of the 6th inning, when Vinnie Pasquantino hit a two-run homer for the Royals to put Burlington up 3-1, where the score would stay.
