Princeton shells Pulaski, 11-2

On Monday, the Rays failed to score any runs in a loss to the Yankees.

Tuesday night started much better for the home team. They batted around in the first inning and plated six runs to take a commanding lead.

The Rays scored three more time in the third on singles from Jelfry Marte and Jake Guenther, making the lead an even 10-0.

On the mound for the Rays, Jose Lopez earned his third victory of the year, pitching five strong innings and striking out eight.

The Yankees would add a pair of runs late, but still fall, 11-2.

The two teams will go for a series victory on Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m.
