Lingering showers/thunder into Wednesday, drying out by late week

The cold front will finally cross the area tonight, bringing a few more showers and thunderstorms through early Wednesday. Though severe weather is not expected overnight or into Wednesday, we will remain unsettled as the front slowly moves out of the are tomorrow and stalls just to our south. Lighter scattered showers (especially during the AM) and areas of fog look likely tomorrow. More sun will gradually emerge into tomorrow afternoon between isolated showers/storms…some heavier downpours could still pop up during the afternoon hours. By tomorrow night, high pressure will be inching toward our area, helping to dry us out. Dense fog will still be possible with the wet ground Wednesday night into early Thursday morning. Highs tomorrow and Thursday will be in the low 80s, while lows will be in the low 60s for most.

Besides a stray shower or two on Thursday, most look dry. We will continue to dry out into the end of the week. As of now, the weekend looks mainly warm and sunny with highs in the 80s. Stay tuned!
