Isolated showers on Thursday…then drier, less humid into Friday

A stubborn and slow moving cold front just to our southeast will finally begin to push further offshore toward the end of the week. We will still be warm and muggy overnight tonight, with lows in the 60s and areas of fog. The humidity will stick around through tomorrow, but the chance of rain will be very slim. We could see a pop-up shower or two, or a rumble of thunder somewhere, but many will just stay partly cloudy and steamy into Thursday afternoon with highs in the 80s. Severe weather is not looking likely for the next several days.

High pressure will take over on Friday, finally giving us a gorgeous, sunny day with LOWER HUMIDITY! There won’t be much of an air mass change into the weekend though, so temps themselves will stay in the 80s. Showers could pop up again with higher humidity returning by Sunday afternoon. Stay tuned!
