This morning a few areas will start off the day with some rain showers. As we progress through our day we will continue to see off and on showers with overcast skies. A little bit of patchy fog is in the works for this morning commute. Temperatures to start us off are in the upper 60s and the lower 70s and we are feeling quite muggy already. Dew points will be a bit higher today in the upper 60s and lower 70s. Our highs today will be average for this time of year in the 80s. We shouldn’t be dealing with much active weather like we saw yesterday, but can’t rule out a thunderstorm this afternoon-evening. If a storm becomes strong in nature the main thing would be winds and some heavy rainfall.
As we head into the overnight hours a few showers will still be lingering around, but most of the area will dry out with mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies. Patchy fog will also be problematic overnight and into tomorrow morning. Tomorrow brings another day of some scattered rain showers, but we lower the rain chances just a bit to account for some areas staying mostly dry with a pop up shower or two. Temperatures will continue to be average even into tomorrow. The temperatures will rise as we head into the end of the work week and into the weekend as high pressure dominates over us. Rain chances are slim for Friday, Saturday and even Sunday.
