Concord University is putting on a play called ‘The Haunting of Hill House.’
The play, written by F. Andrew Leslie, was adapted from the novel by Shirley Jackson. The play follows Eleanor, who finds herself in a creepy mansion with five strangers.
Eleanor is dealing with the loss of her mother, and she tries to be strong during the experiment, but Hill House has other plans.
“The Haunting of Hill House is promised to give you chills as the house brings its sinister surprises,” according to the university.
The play opens on Nov. 6 and runs through Nov. 10. Performances from Wed.-Sun. will be at 7 p.m. Sunday’s matinee will be at 2 p.m. Tickets are $5. All CU students, faculty and staff are free.
