Vehicle and Mercer County school bus involved in accident

PRINCETON, W.Va. (WVVA)- Mercer county 911 received a call just before 3 p.m. Thursday of an accident involving a school bus and a car.

The car was pulling out of the parking lot of Four Seasons Pharmacy in Princeton when it collided with a Mercer County school bus.

According to Rick Ball with Mercer County Schools, there were 31 kids on the bus and he said they were all unhurt and had been picked up by a family member.

Investigating officer Mercer County Deputy D. A .Calloway tells WVVA that the driver of the vehicle was also unhurt and that there would be no citations issued for the driver of the car.

The bus had minimal damage. Princeton Rescue Squad and Mercer County Sheriff’s Department responded.
