LEWISBURG, W.Va. (WVVA) – November is national Adopt-A-Senior Pet month. The ASPCA says senior pets are often the last ones to be adopted from shelters, just like Reba and Raven.
The two sisters are estimated to be 8 to 10 years old. They came in to the Greenbrier Humane Society as part of a group of animals whose owner could no longer care for them. Reba and Raven are the last of the group, keeping their paws crossed for a forever home.
Caretakers at the shelter say the Reba and Raven still have some spunk. They like squeaky toys. Though mostly the dogs are looking for a sunny window for napping.
Like many senior pets both are housebroken.
If you think you can give one or both dogs a home contact the Greenbrier Humane Society.
