Times of clouds and sunshine are expected throughout today. We have a system up to our north and a system that streamed from the Gulf heading towards the coast. Looks like we will dodge both systems, but there is a 20% chance that showers could impact our southern and eastern counties. Mainly along Bland, Wythe and Giles counties and even potentially into Tazewell county. Other than that we will keep up with the dry weather even throughout the weekend. Winds will remain calm over the area and come from the north. Highs today will resemble yesterdays. A few areas could hit into the lower 50s while most will be in the middle and upper 40s.
Overnight we are still having temperatures cooler than average. Our lows will dip into the 20s and 30s with partly cloudy skies.
Throughout the weekend temperatures will hover in the 40s and 50s with mostly sunny skies. Rain chances are still slim into next week.
