UPDATE: Two suspects in an armed robbery that happened Sunday morning in Bluefield are in custody, as police continue their search to locate a third juvenile suspect.

The adult suspect, 20-year-old Caprice Powell, was apprehended by the Bluefield Police Department on Monday. He was arraigned on a $50,000 cash only bond and is being held at Southern Regional Jail.

If Powell is able to post bail, he will be placed on home confinement.

As of now, the police are not releasing the identity of the 16-year-old juvenile in custody. He was located by the police because he was wearing a monitoring bracelet.

The third suspect, 16- year-old Keelan Crockett, has not been located. Police are urging anyone with information about Crockett's whereabouts to call 911.

On Sunday, December 15, police say the suspects entered the Joy Mart store in Bluefield, around 9 a.m., pulling a gun on the store clerk and demanding cash.

The store clerk did not suffer any physical harm and declined an interview with WVVA.

Patrolman Kevin Ross is urging all residents to be vigilant during the holiday season, because crimes of this nature tend to be more frequent.

"Anytime around Christmas, people are hard up for cash," said Ross. "Watch out for your surroundings at all times and lock your doors. Take all measures to keep yourself safe."

Bluefield, WV (WVVA) - The Bluefield Police Dept. has confirmed with WVVA that three black males robbed Joy Mart location off Bluefield Ave. in Bluefield, WV at gunpoint Sunday morning around 9 a.m.

Police say one juvenile is currently in custody. No injuries were reported. The Bluefield Police Dept. is handling this investigation. WVVA will continue following this story for additional updates.
