PRINCETON, W.Va.(WVVA)- Mercer County deputies are searching for a male suspect, believed to be armed with a firearm, in connection to a reported robbery at the BP Convenience Store on Oakvale Road.
Sergeant Steven Sommers with the Mercer County Sheriff's Department says the robbery occurred around 2:30 a.m., after a male entered the store presenting a firearm and taking an undisclosed amount of cash.
Sommers says the suspect's face was partially covered with a possible mask. The department will soon be releasing surveillance images to the public.
The suspects description:
-Around 30 years of age
-Husky, heavier built
-Last seen wearing a black hooded sweat shirt and black sweat pants.
