A former Youth League Coach has been sentenced for incidents surrounding a 14-year-old girl.
James Anthony Collins will spend at least 20 years in prison.
In November, Collins entered a guilty plea by best interest for one offense of Sexual Assault-Second Degree and one offense of Sexual Abuse by a Parent, Guardian, Custodian or person in a position of trust to a child.
The incidents surrounding this case involve a minor that was friends with a family member of Collins.
"That young person is subject to implied intimidation," said George Sitler, Mercer County Prosecuting Attorney. "That's what was found in this case, she was forcibly compelled to engage in sexual activity; this case involves a 37-year-old man."
Collins will be required to register as a sex offender upon his release from prison.
