Gulf air and moisture heads our way

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

Temperatures are scattered around this morning, but most of the area is starting off in the 20s. Winds have calmed over the area, but as we progress into the afternoon gusts can hit up to 20 MPH. Overnight wind gusts will become stronger hitting around 30 MPH.

Clouds will gradually increase into today allowing partly cloudy skies to form around the later afternoon, then mostly cloudy skies will hover into the night and throughout our Friday. Temperatures today will be roughly 5 to 10 degrees warmer than yesterday in the upper 40s and lower 50s.

Throughout tomorrow we should see a mostly dry day, but heading into the evening a few spotty showers will try to work their way into our viewing area. The showers stream from the gulf which will allow temperatures to continue to rise. Temperatures throughout Friday will be in the 50s. On Saturday in the 60s with the lower elevations heading into the upper 60s and the lower 70s! Majority of showers will arrive throughout Saturday and Sunday morning. Showers will be heavy at times causing a concern for some flooding issues. Something we are continuing to monitor.
