Warmer than average temperatures will continue to be the theme as we head into the weekend and the early portions of next week.
This morning temperatures are mild in the 40s and upper 30s. High temperatures will be in the upper 50s and lower 60s. Wind gusts this morning are hitting around 25 MPH, but will subside in the afternoon, then ramp up once again overnight into Saturday. Gusts tonight and throughout tomorrow could hit 40 MPH. Wind Advisories are not yet issued, but may see a few advisories pop up in our viewing area.
A few spotty showers are possible tonight, but most of the area will remain mostly cloudy. This trend will last into tomorrow, but by tomorrow evening a heavy line of showers will come through. Heavy downpours are expected. May even hear a rumble of thunder from this system. Showers will clear out through Sunday morning allowing drier conditions for Sunday afternoon-Monday.
Temperatures are expected to hit into the middle and upper 60s on Saturday. The lower elevations could hit into the lower 70s making temperatures roughly 20-30 degrees above normal. Sunday's temperatures will be in the 50s.
