Mercer County, W. Va.- Two Mercer County men are facing murder charges. Police say robbery was the motive and a Bluefield-based gang called the Dirty-Money Gang is responsible.

Deron Yarrell, and Deliezha Gravely were arraigned Friday.

In addition to 1st degree murder, the pair is also being charged with armed robbery, and conspiracy in the gang-related shooting death of Edward Duck III.

It happened in Bluewell in late December.

Duck was shot and robbed. Gravely and Yarrell allegedly stole a pound and a half of Methamphetamine. Yarrell was taken into custody in Detroit.

There were four suspects in this case, including Andrea Fry, who was arrested in Beckley. Kaleb Merritt was arrested during a traffic stop in Bluefield on earlier this week.

Both Fry and Merritt face 1st degree murder, armed robbery, and conspiracy charges connected to Duck's murder.

Prosecuting Attorney, George Sitler said this case highlight's the continuing rise of gang violence, and drug activity within southern West Virginia.

"There's a violent explosion of gang activity related to Methamphetamine right now in Mercer County. We had an incident this morning where an officer was shot at by an individual with the same set of facts and everyday we have another violent incident," Sitler said.

All four suspects in this case are currently being held in Southern Regional Jail without bond at this time.
