SHADY SPRING, W.Va (WVVA) Shady Spring Tigers hosted Independence Patriots for Senior Night. Prior to tip off, eight seniors were recognized in front of a packed gymnasium.

After a solid three and a half quarters of basketball, head coach Ronnie Olson put in senior Chase Mullins. In three minutes of play, Mullins scored eight points for the Tigers. But he credits all of tonight's his teammates and head coach.

"We do have the best head coach and yes we played good. Its because of the coach and the coach name is Ronnie Olson. He is my main man," says Mullins.

"Knew how much it meant to him and not until we got out here and felt the environment it was kind of touching moment something I'll never forget," says Olson. Mullins practiced with the team this week in prep for the game.

Shady defeated Independence 83-51.
