(WVVA) -- Woodrow Wilson High School girls' basketball Assistant Coach Gene Nabors has been cleared after an incident at Greenbrier East High School on Tuesday.
Officials with the WVSSAC confirmed to WVVA that Nabors will not face suspension or punishments related to the altercation.
However, the West Virginia State Police cited Nabors for obstructing an officer.
WVSP also cited Gene's son, Donte Nabors, for disorderly conduct and obstructing officers.
Steven Damon, the parent of a Greenbrier East player, was also cited for disorderly conduct.
Beckley attorney Randolph McGraw is defending Gene and his son on the criminal citations. He did not immediately return WVVA's request for comment.
WVVA will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as they become available.
