MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WVVA) - The Mountaineers trailed Oklahoma State by as many as 10 points, but used a superb defensive effort in the second half to earn a 65-47 victory.

Deuce McBride and Sean McNeil each had eleven points for the Mountaineers in the win.

But, the second half defense was the story. Bob Huggins and crew allowed the visitors just 14 points over the final 20 minutes, allowing the Cowboys to shoot just 17% from the floor.

With the win, Bob Huggins reaches 879 career victories, which ties Dean Smith for the 6th-most by a Division I coach.

WVU improves to 19-7 on the year, 7-6 in conference. The Mountaineers will visit TCU on Saturday at 2 p.m.
