Shady Spring back in win column with road victory

PRINCETON, W.Va. (WVVA) - The Tigers had a short turnaround on Tuesday night, after suffering its first loss of the season to Bluefield on Monday.

They visited PikeView, who entered the night 6-12 on the season.

Shady opened the game on a 9-0 run, capped off by a Todd Duncan three pointer. The Panthers found their footing in the second quarter, and with just minutes remaining in the half, Jake Coalson sunk a free throw to tie the game at 18.

Tommy Williams finally got going for the Tigers at the close of the first half, helping propel his squad to a 62-48 victory.

Shady travels to Westside on Friday, while PikeView hosts James Monroe on Thursday.
