Hatfield-McCoy Trails to close by midnight

(WVVA) During Friday's press conference in Charleston, Governor Jim Justice announced the closure of the Hatfield-McCoy Trails. In the press conference, Gov. Justice said the trails are occupied by 85% out of state riders.

The Governor stated, trails have to be closed by midnight. On Thursday, residents around the Northfork community raised their concerns about the out of state riders coming to the community.

Lodges at State parks are also being shut down. Gov. Justice says nearly 70% of the occupants are from out of state. State parks are not shut down.
