Wyoming County Sheriff’s Dept. arrests seven in connection with Ohio Fenantyl ring

PINEVILLE, W. Va. (WVVA) The Wyoming County Sheriff's Dept. has arrested seven people in connection with a Fentanyl ring out of Akron Ohio, a spokesperson for the department announced Monday.

Four people believed to be involved in that ring were arrested on Friday. Cornell Archie, Leemaryyante Lewis, Kentrell McKenzie, and a juvenile were taken into custody and charged with Possession with Intent to Deliver Fentanyl and Conspiracy.

Chief Deputy Brad Ellison said three more individuals believed to be connected with the ring were arrested earlier this month.

Earlier this month, the department reported responding to more than a dozen overdoses involving the drug in less than a week and a half.

Chief Deputy Ellison said the investigation is ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact the department at 304-732-8000.
