(WVVA) - A North Carolina man is facing drug charges in Fayette County.
40-year-old Jason Westwood Lego of Newport North Carolina was charged with possession with intent to deliver narcotics. Westwood is awaiting court proceedings.
According to Sheriff Mike Fridley, early Sunday morning Fayette County Sheriff's Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a rental vehicle on Gatewood Road near Oak Hill. Officers searched the vehicle and found a large quantity of methamphetamine, over $2,000 in cash, scales and packaging supplies.
The incident is under investigation by the Fayette County Sheriff's Department.
