W.Va. receives two grants for COVID-19 response among homeless individuals

WASHINGTON D.C. (WVVA) – The Department of Housing and Urban Development is awarding two Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) to West Virginia.

The first award, worth $559,361, is for the City of Huntington, and the second, worth $7,166,583, is going to the state of West Virginia for distribution.  

These funds will be used to prepare and respond to the Coronavirus pandemic among individuals who are homeless or receiving homeless assistance across the state.
