A cold front associated with scattered showers and storms is pushing through the viewing area Friday afternoon and evening. Severe weather is not likely with this frontal system, but we can't rule out a strong to severe storm throughout the rest of Friday.
Into Friday night, expect mostly cloudy skies, with a few stray showers possible. Temperatures will fall into the 60s.
Clouds and a few showers will be possible into Saturday morning, as the frontal boundary will continue to cross the region, but much drier and cooler weather will push in for Saturday afternoon.
High temperatures Saturday will be in the 70s and 80s, with a much needed drop in humidity. Saturday will be a great day to exercise or cook dinner outdoors. We will still be warm, but the lower humidity will make it feel a tad more comfortable outside. Lows Saturday night will fall into the 60s.
The second half of your weekend will not be as nice, as another cold front will push towards our region. Sunday does not look to be a complete washout, as showers and storms look to form mainly into the later afternoon and evening. Temperatures look to push back into the 80s by Sunday.
