CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WVVA) - Governor Jim Justice today announced that every volunteer fire dept. in the state will receive $10,000 in grant monies.

The governor also noted that over the past 3 days, the state has seen a downward trend in COVID-19.

Justice said the recently imposed mask mandate has helped the state, but contrasted the good news with saying, "I'm a believer that one robin doesn't make spring."

West Virginia has now lost 101 lives to COVID-19.
