The majority of adult education programs are closed due to COVID-19, but Summers County Adult Education Program is a "community based" program that will follow the schedule of the local library which means they are open for business.

Parents may be considering at-home education for their children during the pandemic, causing them to take on the role that teachers usually carry out.

Some parents may need help brushing up on certain subjects and can get that assistance through the Summers County Public Library.

They have no set date for group courses but request anyone who may need help call the library at (304)466-4490.

Their programs are completely free and span beyond prepping parents for the upcoming school year.
