Widespread showers/storms will funnel in this afternoon all thanks to a stalled frontal boundary around the Mid Atlantic. The main threat will be heavy downpours leading to a flooding risk. A Slight Risk for excessive rainfall is issued for our viewing area today and tomorrow as heavy downpours are expected yet again.
Some storms may produce some gusty winds at times. Severe storm threat is low, but stronger ones aren't out of the question.
High temperatures will be near average and for some slightly cooler. Highs will hit in the 80s for most with a few 70s.
Overnight lows will be in the 60s with scattered showers. Friday morning will start different than this morning as showers will still be lingering around. Most of the rain will come in the afternoon though. Widespread showers and storms are expected to close out the work week. This weekend we remain unsettled with temperatures still hitting in the 70s and 80s.
