Flood alerts are still issued for Friday morning

High water will remain the biggest weather threat for our Friday and even into the weekend. We continue to be under a Marginal Risk for Excessive Rainfall today, tomorrow and even into Sunday.

The morning drive will incorporate some patchy fog along with scattered showers. Cloudy conditions with times of showers and storms will remain into the work day with temperatures hovering into the 70s and lower 80s.

Keep in mind the phrase 'turn around don't drown!' High water will remain possible throughout the weekend as showers and storms really aren't letting up.

Tonight a few showers are still possible with temperatures into the 60s and lower 70s. Some patchy fog is possible to develop all due to the wet grounds.

A 50% chance for showers is with us for Saturday while we barely back down the chances to a 40% chance on Sunday. Temperatures will continue to be in the 70s and 80s with overnight lows in the 60s and lower 70s. Stay alert with WVVA for the latest on the flooding risks and how Hurricane Isaias can impact us next week too! Meteorologist Catherine Maxwell is on until 7AM.
