Fayetteville man facing drug charges after traffic stop

FAYETTE COUNTY, W. Va (WVVA) - A Fayetteville, W. Va. man is facing drug charges in Fayette County.

This Monday afternoon, a deputy with the Fayette County Sheriff's Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on U.S. Route 19 in the Hilltop area of Fayette County.

The deputy stopped the vehicle for a traffic infraction.

After receiving permission to search the vehicle, the deputy discovered a quantity of heroin and methamphetamines on the driver's person, which was concealed.

The deputy also discovered some scales and a large quantity of cash.

50-year old Todd Matthew Boucino of Fayetteville, W. Va. was arrested and charged with Possession With Intent to Deliver Narcotics.

It was also determined that Boucino has an outstanding bench warrant out of the Fayette County Circuit Court.

He is now awaiting his court proceedings.
