Spotty showers remain throughout the day today. We will notice a mix of weather conditions with times of sun, clouds and some rain are all possible. Not everyone will witness the rain showers.
Low temperatures tonight will be mild in the 50s with increasing chances for showers. This is all thanks to a cold front swinging through which will provide rain (mainly arriving overnight Monday) and continuing to be widespread throughout Tuesday. Cooler air trickles in allowing temperatures throughout tomorrow to gradually drop. Highs will be set in the morning with most of us only starting off in the 50s and lower 60s. By the later afternoon highs will be in the lower 50s and 40s for most.
Can't rule out the chances for some heavy downpours and a few rumbles of thunder. Flooding is a concern for our Tuesday. A Marginal Risk for Excessive Rainfall has been issued.
Rainfall totals will be around 1-1.5 inches for much of the viewing area.
By the middle of the workweek cooler than average temperatures will last and we could witness another frost event to close the work week. Details are on WVVA at noon!
