Hannah Howard joined the WVVA team in September 2020 as a multimedia journalist, and was most recently promoted to Sports Director in July of 2021.
Hannah graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism in May 2020, emphasizing in sports broadcasting with a certificate in multicultural studies.
While in Columbia, Hannah worked at KOMU 8 News, mid-Missouri’s NBC affiliate, as a sports reporter, anchor and producer. Hannah covered high school, college and professional sports. She even had the opportunity to travel to Miami and cover the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIV. Hannah also traveled to Beijing, China to serve as an American reporter for the 2019 China Open Tennis Tournament.
Growing up in Winter Haven, Florida, Hannah is very excited to be back on the east coast after her stint in the Midwest. When she’s not working you can catch Hannah cheering on her favorite teams, which include the Tampa Bay Rays, Kansas City Chiefs and of course, the Missouri Tigers. In her free time, she also enjoys working out and hanging out with her cat, Mickey.
