AAC releases preseason basketball polls

(WVVA) - With the NAIA college basketball season less than a month away, the Appalachian Athletic Conference has unveiled its men's and women's preseason basketball polls.

The Bluefield College men are tied eighth in the rankings. Richard Morgan and company finished last season with a 14-16 record. The Lady Rams are tenth in the poll. The struggled for stretches of last year, turning in an 8-22 record.

Head coach Corey Mullins will have plenty of experience on his side this season, as eight members of the roster are upperclassmen.

The men are slated to open their season at home against Carolina University on Wednesday, November 4. The women will visit WVU Tech on Tuesday, November 3.
