BLUEFIELD, W.Va. (WVVA) - Incumbent Governor Jim Justice and challenger Ben Salango debated COVID-19, state infrastructure, and more.
Both made claims to past achievements in their career.
Salango spoke of his career as a lawyer saying he, "always fights for the little guy."
Justice spoke of his accomplishments as Governor including Roads to Prosperity, which he stated was made possible by his efforts.
Both candidates say they would protect coal miners.
When asked about Marijuana, Justice said he would only support medical use due to West Virginia's opioid epidemic.
Salango said Marijuana is an opportunity for revenue in the state.
