After a cool start to your Sunday, most were able to rebound into the 60s and even 70s across some of the western slopes. A few more clouds this evening due to a cold front that is located just to our northwest, luckily we are going to stay mainly dry throughout the rest of the night.
We will be a bit warmer tonight, with low temperatures only falling into the 40s and partly cloudy skies. After the last two nights of extensive frost and freeze, the gardening seasoning has now ended for our entire viewing area, but no frost or freeze is expected tonight.
We will have a cold front just to our northwest to start the work week, so we can't rule out an stray showers into Monday and Tuesday. However, the big headline heading into this week will be the big warm up in our temperatures.
We will be in the upper 60s and 70s for Monday, with partly cloudy skies throughout the day. We will stay partly cloudy into Monday night, with a stray shower being a possibility.
Tuesday looks very similar. High temperatures in the 60s and 70s, with partly cloudy skies and maybe a stray shower throughout the day.
The weather looks excellent over the next couple of days, but how long will it last? Also, how long will we be warmer. Details tonight on WVVA News at 6 and 11.
