Fair skies and warmer temperatures linger for a few days

Remaining Ad Time Ad - 00:00

High pressure continues to be our dominant weather maker for the next few days allowing us to stay dry and hold onto a southerly flow. This will keep us warmer than average with temperatures hitting in the 70s for most.

A stationary front is off to our west and will remain parked there for a few days. This gives the opportunity today for a stray shower. Best placement would be along the western slopes or north of I-64. Majority of the viewing area will remain dry like most of us did yesterday.

Shouldn't see any weather nuisances during the evening commute as dry conditions last. Overnight we can expect mostly clear skies with temperatures in the 40s and 50s again.

We won't need the rain gear for much of this work week. Great week to try and get some yard work done because as we head into the weekend a cold front swings through disrupting our dry and warm pattern. The details are on WVVA at noon!
