Marshall unveils 2021 football schedule
HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WVVA) - The first football slate of the Charles Huff era has arrived.
Marshall University released its 2021 football schedule on Wednesday afternoon, featuring four non-conference games and a full eight-game Conference USA campaign.
The Thundering Herd will open the season at Navy-Marine Corps Stadium on Saturday, September 4. The team's home opener will come the following week against North Carolina Central.
The non-conference slate will also feature a home game against East Carolina and a trip to Appalachian State.
Marshall's home conference games will come against Old Dominion, Florida International, UAB and Western Kentucky. The road opponents will be Middle Tennessee, North Texas, Florida Atlantic and Charlotte.
