Isaac, Pivont named McDonald’s All-American nominees

(WVVA) - A pair of Summers County girls basketball seniors, Taylor Isaac and Gavin Pivont, have been tabbed as McDonald's All-American nominees.

The Lady Bobcat duo are two of more than 700 boys and girls, nationwide, that have been nominated for the prestigious honor.

There will be no in-person All-Star game this year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, a final roster of 48 players will be announced later this month.

Summers County will open its delayed 2021 season by hosting Bluefield on Wednesday, March 3.
