As high pressure shifts further to the east overnight, this will allow for winds to shift more out of the south. Warmer air will then push into our area midweek, allowing us to feel like Spring, at least for a day!
Tonight, we'll still be on the chilly side. Winds won't be quite as gusty overnight, and skies should remain mainly clear. Low temps should fall into the low to mid 30s for most. We should see plenty of sunshine tomorrow, with highs reaching the upper 50s and low 60s! Keep the jacket around though! We'll still be a good bit breezy throughout the day, so temps will feel a bit cooler than they actually area.
A frontal boundary will push into our area Wednesday evening, bringing a few light rain showers (with perhaps a few flakes north of I-54) after sun-down and into early Thursday morning.
Highs will retreat back into the 40s through late week, but will climb into the 50s again into the weekend. Despite the overall warming trend, we'll stay unsettled as the front stalls across our region and multiple areas of low pressure ride along the boundary through the end of the weekend.
