Most of the area will keep up with sunny skies and dry conditions throughout today, but Pocahontas county may see a stray rain/snow/mix move in this morning.
Other than that expect warmer temperatures today! Highs will hit in the upper 40s and 50s. Winds will be strong especially this morning. Wind gusts will hit around 30 MPH and gradually calm down during the day.
This evening gusts will be 15-20 MPH. Low temperatures tonight will fall into the 30s with partly cloudy skies.
Wednesday looks to be a much warmer than average day. High temperatures in the 50s and 60s.
Times of sun and clouds will be present, but rain with some pockets of freezing rain possible will arrive at night. A cold front will track through Wednesday night giving us a chance to see some showers. As of now, models have the precipitation building in after sunset around 8-9PM.
So still a great opportunity today and tomorrow to try and get outdoors! A stray shower is possible on Thursday, but overall we are considering Thursday a dry day. Precipitation will build in again for the end of this work week and into the weekend as a low pressure system heads into our area.
