Physicians across the Mountain State are preparing for the green light to recommend medical marijuana to patients but they can't do so until completing a required 4-credit hour West Virginia Department of Health and Human Services course WVVA spoke with the author of the West Virginia Cannabis Progam's course.
She says this equally important for those in the medical profession who are not intending to recommend it to patients.
"Clinicians haven't learned about this in medical school and it affects every part of our body. How could you not learn about it," said Meredith Corn, M.D. and author of the course.
