ICYMI: ‘In Focus’ on Black History Month

BLUEFIELD, W.Va (WVVA) - During the month of February, WVVA showcased various Civil Rights icons and other black leaders at the local and national levels.

In case you missed it (ICYMI), on the last day of Black History Month (Sun. Feb. 28), WVVA's Sunday morning show 'In Focus' featured guests who elaborated on the importance of recognizing black history, historical figures and how current events might shape American history and black history and more.

Guests included Frederick Brown, pastor at the Faith Center Church in Bluefield, WV and also Dr. Lewis Brogdon, a professor and author who works at Bluefield College and the Baptist Seminary of Kentucky.

In Focus is a show about people and events in The Two Virginias. It airs every Sunday on WVVA at 9 a.m.
