Four Mercer County schools receive threats

UPDATE 12 p.m.: Mercer County states that law enforcement found no threat.

MERCER COUNTY, W.Va. (WVVA) - Mercer County Public Schools released a statement Monday morning stating that threats have been made against four schools.

These threats follow unsubstantiated threats that were received on three different days in the previous week.

Mercer County says that Monday's threats are the same type. The threats were made against Princeton Middle School, Princeton High School, Bluefield Middle School and Bluefield High School.

Police are said to be on scene and investigating.
