A man who pleaded no contest to a sexual assault involving a minor has been sentenced

Rick Cutlip Sr. was sentenced to 10-20 years, but that part of the sentence is suspended due to the plea agreement.

He was also sentenced for two separate counts of sexual assault for 1-5 years, to run consecutively.

Upon release, Cutlip will be on 5-year probation and 10 years supervised release.

The sentencing took place in Judge Mark Wills’ courtroom in Mercer County.

A man who pleaded no contest to a sexual assault requested a change in date for his sentencing.

Rick Cutlip Sr. appeared in Judge Mark Wills’ courtroom for a motion hearing.

Cutlip’s sentencing hearing is scheduled for Monday, November 5th but his attorney asked for a continuance, saying Cutlip had a medical appointment the following Tuesday.

Because the sentencing is the day before the medical appointment, Cutlip’s lawyer says he needs more time until after his client is examined.

Judge Wills denied the continuance motion and the sentencing hearing date will not be changed.

The incidents surrounding this case involve a minor.

Cutlip’s sentencing will take place in Judge Will’s courtroom on Monday at 1 pm.
